Missing College Student Riley Strain’s Body Recovered from Nashville River
Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Riley Strain, the missing college student from Missouri, whose body has been tragically recovered from the Cumberland River in West Nashville. Riley, 22, was last seen two weeks ago after leaving Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge Bar in downtown Nashville.
The Metro Nashville Police Department confirmed that they found Riley’s body on Friday morning around 7:30 a.m. The investigation is ongoing, and an autopsy is pending. At this time, no signs of foul play have been identified.
Despite extensive efforts from search teams, Riley’s whereabouts remained a mystery until his bank card was discovered on the banks of the Cumberland River on March 16. This discovery led authorities to find his body.
Riley’s disappearance has deeply saddened our community. It is an incredibly difficult time for his loved ones, and our thoughts and prayers are with them. We understand the pain and heartbreak they are experiencing, and we stand by them during this challenging journey.
