A woman who lost 350 pounds had the best response to being body shamed at the beach
The encounter, according to the Montessori preschool teacher, made her realize how much she had changed in the previous year. She claimed that she is no longer dependent on other people’s approval. Although she still experiences occasional difficulties with body image, her main focus is how her body makes her feel.
She wrote, “I don’t rely on other people’s approval.” Furthermore, I don’t give a damn what people say about my physique. I don’t have time to worry about what other people may think or say because I am too busy living my best life and trying so hard to love myself for who I am, loose skin and all.
Adan’s fresh outlook influenced her 118,000 followers.
“This photo of you is so beautiful! You embody the self-love that we should all aspire to!” One wrote, “Here I am, world, strong & full of love & inspiring us.”
“You are a real inspiration, and those who condemn others for their bodies are just insecure people! You look gorgeous and fantastic!,” another person exclaimed.
“I’m finally able to say that this past year has been focused on my self-love journey,” Adan said. “And it’s a true transformation for me to be in this place in my life where I can go around in a bathing suit and genuinely feel happy and confident without worrying about what other people think or say.”
